Now here’s a good one: A Finnish man was fined only 3000 euros for illegally sharing 164 albums and downloading 1.850 tracks. Quite a gap with the way the U.S. deals with file-sharing villains. Joel Tennebaum got fined $675 000 for his 30 tracks (that The Pirate Bay made a compilation out of by the way: DJ Joel and the $675 000 Mixtape), and a certain Jammie Thomas-Rasset forked out the ridiculous sum of $1.92 million for just 24 tracks.
Can’t really find an appropriate punch line for this post.
